I’m considering buying a paint/filler gauge or meter. I see many different types from pen-shaped magnet gauges at about $60 on up to electronic meters at about $1000. What are your experiences with using the various types?

The vise belongs to my brother. He goes to a lot of yard sales and he got this for free. It was the end of the day and the lady didn't want to move it. This vise is HEAVY.

Found this vise sitting in the garage. Trying to find info about age and value. I don’t have measurements right now.

I'm not sure. I might take it apart to look inside for more info.
