Metrics are out of stock, but SAE are on the way - thanks
BTW - I hate online checkouts that don't properly show sales prices. I hope they get it and the taxes right once it processes.
I am getting ready to redo the convertible top on my 90 Mustang. The FSM lists the Bostitch Staple Gun T28-7 with Bostitch 1/4" x 5/16" staples in the "Special Service Tools" section.
This generates a few questions:
1) I am assuming staple sizes are listed as crown (width) x Length. Is this...
Nope - not the same, but similar. The $29 units have an open shelf on the bottom (door only cover 2 shelves) - these doors cover top to bottom. The $29 units are also 28" high and wide, not 30"
These guys may have a usable option for tie-down modifications. No experience with them, just the result of a search.

Also make sure to have some long-cuff resiliant gloves handy with that purple stuff. It'll steal your fingerprints quickly then keep on chewing. That stuff is harsh on bare skin.
Even if the wind raised an issue, just drop a rubber mat or cap over the drain when not it use. Something heavy, just to prevent too much free air passage. Need to use the sink? - lift the mat and go to it.

While we're here, I'll chime in about the non-Vise-Grip locking pliars. All I have tried are junk, especially the C-man ones.
Also, many of the automotive specialty tools I've come across should be avoided as well. Things like the window crank clip removers, trim...
Expensive, but we use these spring mounts at work on horizontal tank compressors (like a Quincy QR25) for HVAC pneumatics systems.

That would absolutely **** in the wrong scenario!
Image dropping a $1,100 ratchet into a greasy, rusty framerail and not being able to fish it out with a magnet on a stick. Time to chop the frame!
Again with the 5 gal bucket here. Anything bigger becomes unwieldy and it gets hard to find a place to take it. If 5 gal is too small, stack another on top of it once full.
My wife does wedding cakes so I get the cast-off icing buckets with gasketed lids in the 3 and 5 gal sizes. The 3 gal...
