Every tech I know who has had ez red tools except one has had nothing but bad things to say. I know two guys that had ratchet wrenches break on them in the first day of use. I stay away. Ymmv

Decided to compile all the stuff I have bought since the last time I posted in this thread (prior to yesterday). As you can see most has already been used and abused. But here it is anyway. Those push pin pliers are probably one of the best tools I have ever bought btw. Highly recommend if you...
Well there is some machine oil on them so I guess.
I know they are expensive but they will last a lifetime and I use them professionally. Plus they are shiny. I like shiny.

Very nice. I just picked up the same kit myself. I haven't had a chance to put it to the test but I've always had great luck with ingersoll air tools. I will also say that they have that kit online for considerably under $200. Of course then you have to pay for it all at once.

the other thing that hasn't been mentioned is that while snap-on may sell their products online they really only desire their products to be used and purchased by professional technicians and craftsman. the snap-on franchise is how they want you to buy their products and they give their drivers...
I started with a cart and basic hand tools from Matco through a student program. In the past couple years I have added a double bay 4s box and 4k or so more in tools. Most of which I did not pay full retail for. I can get by with what I have now, but I add things occasionally to make my life...
ive looked and the closest thing I have found to a side by side comparison of socket height and overall dimensions was in the koken thread comparing the zeal sockets to a few others. has anyone out there ever done a comparison with pictures showing a wide variety of sockets right next to each...
I went to tech school, bought all my tools through snap on and Matco and left with zero debt. Most of my tools we're actually paid for with grants. That's the benefit of going to a community college tech program that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

the guy that works next to me has those universal joints. he uses them all the time and as far as I know has never broken one. that said in person they look like junk.
yeah I don't really get what they are for. I cant see a situation where those would be usefull over a deep offset wrench or even a ratchet. I guess maybe pulling the nuts off of really long bolts, but my regular combo wrenches have always worked for that and they ratchet.
