Yes I do use those. The only 2 items I have a doubts for are the sup-panel for those 2 breakers, since looks like it is a powder coated and it is in between of the 120 and 240 outlets from one side and main metal conduit going to the main breaker box (which is powder coated too)..

Dual 15A breakers are just for 120v outlets. Lift and 240v outlet fed from 30a breaker in the main breaker box. Someone told me it is a very bad idea to have a metal boxes with the outlets mounted directly to the lift column. Electric shock hazard. Is it?

I was asking this question and found no other options to drilling and using screws for metal (I personally use #12). Make sure they fairly short so they don't interfere with the lift carrier. I guess I'm using 1/2 long ones.

May be it's just me, but the only downside for Tapa is the place they are hosing the images. For some folks the internet provider firewall (or whatever filters they are using) is blocking the pictures from the tapatalk hosting server. Or at least this is most logical explanation I can find since...

I've been shopping/searching for the car lift for a long time and all the links in regards to installation, options etc.. lead to GJ. So finally I decided to register (at least to see your attached pictures, lol ) :) Once I'll get 5 messages I'll post a video of my chores installing the lift :)

Folks, what in general do you use to screw something on the posts (e.g. outlets)? Self tapping screws, or screws with nuts or..? If I'm bringing 220v to the outlet, can I "steal" 1 hot wire from it to make 110v outlet next to 220v outlet (I personally think no) or I need to have a separate...
