As usual, the supervisor is checking out the progress. We were able use an engineered girder truss at the union of the new and old. This is a wonderul bit of engineering, I end up with no support poles or beams. Just a flat ceiling. This will really make the inside seamless, no real definition...

I will save some of the long winded stories of the battle for a permit. In the long run financially, the smaller version did work out better for us.
