The brick layers did use brick ties between the two surfaces. it seems like there shouldn't be as much movement with only the roof exposed. In my area 7/16 osb is the same price a sheet rock and it shouls make a much more rigid wall if I can figure out an attractive finish.

There is about 4" of air space between the brick and the R-panels.

As the building expands and contracts with temperature changes and also movement with the wind (Windy West Texas) what happens if the walls are tied together. It is a 40X50 bolt together that is all bricked. A 14x14 RV overhead door on north end and a 10x10 overhead shop door on the south...
