Williams 818 Hex-Box Wrench Just picked up this beauty! It won't even fit in my Superector crate!

What is the part number for the Williams Breaker Bar S-???

NRI Industrial Sales had it for sale at $428. Obviously I got it for less. The crate was damaged, so he deducted $25. I had to glue the sides back together and repair a broken piece of wood on the bottom.

There is a groove in the left S-51 pawl. Was this done at the factory or by a previous owner. I disassembled about a dozen and never seen it before.

Williams Superector Set No. E1-12 It came with the correct 11 sockets (Hex and Square) and 4 extra Hex 620 sockets. it also has an extra ring.

The PS-71 doesn't have one. The GS-71 is 1970.

What is the difference between a Snap-on GS-71 and a PS-71 ratchet? After getting the PS-71 in the mail ... I believe it just means it was repaired. Agree?

And the back. Anyone know what the "J-S" and "11-44" codes mean?

I also picked up this set with a Federal Stock Number. I wiped the sockets down with oil and cut a mat to fit in the bottom. Turned out nice!

I picked this up yesterday. Kinda goes along with the previous post. The previous owner had spray painted it black. Looks good, but seems wrong. Should I strip the paint off? What would you use? Thanks.
