    Old Grinder Identification

    Pulled the base and cleaned the housing with Kroil and steel wool. All I see is where two plates once existed ‘cause the rivets are still there. Looking at my other 2 grinders I see the start capacitors are similar size since they are both 1/2hp. I may just risk it and get one 100 mfd vs the 75...

    Thanks. I did try cleaning the center strap but not with steel wool. Should have since that’s what I use to clean antique firearms. I figured at one time there was a bolted or riveted manufacturing plate on the base. I’ll pull the base off on Wednesday ‘cause I need to verify the wiring too
