Wasn't broke? I didn't expect such an expensive ratchet to come with a backing plate not fully screwed down and still have so much endplay after being tightened down. Maybe it's just the dual pawl design. Stripped torx head totally on my stupidity lol. I think it was my terrible quality torx...
Success! Thanks everyone for the advice. I was able to get it out. Did a tiny bit of filing of the flat head slot I didn't even realize was there since it was mangled and small. Then was able to very carefully use a flathead screwdriver to get it out. I definitely need better quality torx...
Unfortunately I'm a ******* and bought these new factory sealed off ebay. After some googling, sounds like snapon won't honor the warranty. Lesson learned, won't ever buy from a non authorized dealer again.
Hey all, hope this is the correction section of the forum to post this. I have this dual 80 snap on ratchet I bought new sealed on ebay. It had quite a lot of anvil endplay so I tightented the backing plate down and it improved some. I bought a rebuild kit to see if it would help the endplay...
If most toilet horns are flush with the base or are receded, And horns need to go a ways into the flange ... wouldn't you want the flange on top of the finished floor? Otherwise you won't have a good seal and potential for leaking. At least that's what it seems from googling videos and pictures.
Make sure that's actually a 15ft peak limit. I was quoted that until I went down to the building permit office in my town and asked some specific questions. They told me the 15 ft height limit was measured halfway between the peak and the rood edge/gutter, yielding a peak slightly higher than...
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it, seriously. But did you read my posts either? Are you in CT? Is this common practice in CT? How does this relate to my house shopping? This case sounds like it is the exception.
I'm house shopping. Unless I inspect the the system to look for backup...
As someone else mentioned I think electric is more like 20c/kw after delivery rate in CT. I think propane is higher than oil here at the moment too, I'll have to look into that. I am house shopping so it depends on what a house already has. 95-99% of houses in the town I'm shopping (Norwalk...
Oh, I think it's more like 17.24 cents per kilowatt hour. Idk, I don't have bill in front of me. Where I'm looking, norwalk, CT, it is around 95% oil heat and 5% gas. Depends on towns here, some have a ton of gas, some have barely any if at all.
Been house shopping and see a few houses and condos listed as Heat Pump and they look like they have forced air vents from the pictures. It gets below freezing quite often in CT and sometimes below zero. Would a heat pump be capable of heating that low efficiently? I think our electric rates...
