Ideas wanted - reworking floor and configuration of barn for car stuff

I love the old barn and how you have improved it. Looking great. Reminds me of trip to Indiana with my buddies family when we were in high school. He had family there who lived in the 'country' and knew all the neighbors, some of whom had dairy farms. Your barn reminds me of one barn all the...

MF GC2410 what to look for when inspecting

I would add, lift the rear wheels with the backhoe, raise both FL and BH and leave them lifted while you check other things. Check for fluid leaks(oil, water, hydraulic, etc), oil pressure(if it has a gauge), maintenance records.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

This is what I was thinking and the reason for contacting the insurance company and the body shop.

    The New Atomic World HQ

I LOVE the gulf coast. We're mid way between Houston and Galveston a couple minutes from Galveston Bay. But, then again, I was born and raised about 15 minutes from the Gulf of America so I might be a little biased. lol Ryan, looking forward to following along as you make the new location...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I think I mentioned replacing the power window motor and regulator a couple months back in my wife's Sequoia. Well, three spot welds failed last week and when things shifted/fell one of the mounting 'ear' clips on the window broke. Got the regulator replaced under warranty (2 1/2 months old)...

    Garage Refrigerator

Sounds like the defroster timer is dead, or the motherboard defrost function is dead. We have three really old 'garage' fridges which I've had to replace the defrost timer multiple times over the years. Also had to replace the motherboard on our 'newer' Amana in the kitchen for the same reason.

Garage Door Lock, ain’t never seen this before

What are these release cords you speak of? I got tired of dodging them.

    Steel Building Anchor Bolts

When we build ours the concrete guys made plywood templates and set the bolts in them prior to pour. I made the mistake of not double checking their measurements. During the build (we did it ourselves) we found one corner template had been set 90 degrees off so I had to cut the bolts and epoxy...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

We love our Echo gaser, extends to 17'. When we bought it 25+ years ago (at the tractor shop) my wife pointed out to the salesman that it was 'her' saw. lol Anytime I went in there for tractor parts he always made it a point to ask how my liked her saw.

The problem with being on the salt water is the probability of getting the infected area wet and the risk of worse infection with vibrio(not something to mess with). Check out some videos/pictures of that if you're not familiar with it.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I feel your pain Kay. I've been similarly down since early June with a lower leg infection which isn't healing. So, I'm supposed to be keeping my leg elevated........ugh. Plus, my wife watches me like a hawk to ensure I kinda obey docs orders. Of course, this also means no boating/fishing...

Do you provide food/drinks to a work crew?

We seldom hire anyone to do projects but when we do we provide lunch some days along with drinks. On their final day we'll get several pizzas along with drink, including beer if the boss agrees (which they always have). We will sometimes give the entire crew a $$ tip or a specific individual...
