I retired from working on the bench so I brought 2 Snapon tool boxes home. I basically have a duplicate of all my work tools at home but not snap on. For home I used Milwaukee craftsman etc. Now the snapon cart and smaller husky box in the pic is now in the basement aka man cave.
After watching this video it got me really curious with Milwaukee. Caved and bought the 2763 a couple of weeks ago. I gotta say it's pretty good. Definately both have their own personalities
I'm going to bring it to work and see what it can do. My box is filled with snap on 18v and 14.4 power tools so it be a good test on the field. The Milwaukee will mostly spend its time at home anyways...
I never take offence to opinions. I've had very good experience with snappy cordless in my line of work. Only tool I had to send back for repair was the 3/8 14.4V ratchet. At home I use Bosch and dewalt. They do their jobs well but I wouldnt feel confident using them at work. The feel isn't there.
I'll start with the 18v 1/2 impact is a beast. Never let me down. The 3/8 is great for exhaust and suspension work. I absolutely hate the black finish. It peeled off so easily. Wish it was powder coated.
14.4V I'll start to the left. Polisher. Good for small jobs. It would overheat and shut...
I like it for the price. The international casters are poor and the way they are mounted is a week point. The drawers have a bit of lateral play. But again, for the price it does the job. I have a krl722 for work and you can really see/feel the difference between the 2.
Excuse the mess. Recently got the 2 Wurth cabinets and put it up yesterday. It wasn't really meant to be wall mounted so I went to homedepot and got L brackets and a 96" MDF board. I still screwed the cabinets to wall studs for precaution. I think it goes well with my International box. The OCD...
I got a 46 a couple months ago. Ordered the side adapter panel, I few hooks and holders. I also ordered clear drawer guards to match my 722s drawers. I thought about ordering the power strip but couldn't justify spending $60 for a power bar when I can get a regular bar for $10.
Wow $400 off?! That's awesome. My dealer was offering $150 off. But that's still $1350 CAD plus tax. Still a big chunk of change. I'm gonna wait a couple of months before I commit. I've only read 1 review on the imager and it was bad. I'd love to hear what you think of it once you got the chance...
