I had a 2001 explorer and the same would happen to me as well, not quite that bad, but definitely noticeable. I too would have to turn the wheels back and forth at least a dozen or so times to get it worked out, after that, all was fine until the frontend was raised for whatever reason, brakes...

I have the HF electric cut off tool and I have had no problems with it. had it about 8 months or so, don't use it everyday all the time, but does come in handy when needing to do small jobs, 1 or 2 small bolts, or cut some 1/8 angle for a bracket. sometimes its quicker just to grab an extension...

does anyone know, or have seen a way to put a crank system on these type of truck cranes to rotate them with? a lot of times I am picking something up and almost never on level ground, so gravity seems to take over and the object being picked up swings w/gravity and makes it hard to control...

if you have Direct TV then you can add SPEED CHANNEL. I did this a couple of years ago & it was an additional 6 dollars a month. I just wish you could delete some of the unwanted channels and have it taken off my biil!!

thanks for the quick reply, junkman . he is looking at the info about bendpak. he has a lot of different vehicles, ranging from his 48 anglia up to his 2000 super duty duallie. I tried to talk him into a 2 post but he wants a 4 post drive on.
