    SK 36mm wrench

Besides Snap-on (their 36mm wrench looks cheap), what would be comparable to SK as far as quality? I bought a 36mm/1 7/16 fan clutch wrench at Napa and it messed up my fan clutch. I later found out that the 1 7/16 is actually 36.5mm and so it was loose enough to round the edges of the fan...

Dial indicator set with roller tip

I have a light vibration at 30 mph. I know its the driveline because I accelerated while the rear was jacked up and the rear tires off. My drums are brand knew. I know it's not the torque converter or the transfer case because I put the transfer case in neutral and accelerated up to 2500...

Dial indicator set with roller tip

I was planning to jack the rear and spin the shaft by hand, but can you spin the shaft at driving speed without turning the dial into a projectile? Thanks for everyone's suggestions

Dial indicator set with roller tip

Guys, I need a dial indicator to measure the run-out on the drive shaft of my dodge 2500. Which set do you recommend? Should I get a magnet base or clamp base? Is there a set that includes a roller tip? I would like to keep it under $150. Thanks in advance for your help.

No argument, you guys are right. However, this is the method that I used for many years; and believe it or not, most mechanics use this method. The problem is that before the 750-Di, I had access to a big vise that must of weighed more that 150 lbs. That being sad, I didn't go into full...

    Yost 65c

I bent the Jaw on my Yost 750di while using it to remove the u-joints from the drive shaft of my Dodge 2500. I had used it numerous times to remove u-joints, and the tube on the moving jaw was warping a little. It finally gave out on the heavy duty yoke of the AAM shaft. I called Yost and was...
