North East Steel Building Suppliers - 30,000 Square Feet

Thanks, I'll check them out too. It needs to be mainly free-span, or minimal columns. It's for cars and machinery, so they have to be able to maneuver around - columns every 50 feet won't work, for example. No plans yet, I'm really just trying to get a general idea of cost to see if it's...

North East Steel Building Suppliers - 30,000 Square Feet

Thanks guys for your input. I will most likely find a good contractor to do the job, so he'll handle the ordering and erecting, but I certainly want to do my own research on manufacturers and make the final decision on which company we're ordering from. The GC will handle all of the logistics...

North East Steel Building Suppliers - 30,000 Square Feet

Hi guys, I'm looking for recommendations for a northeast based steel building supplier. I'm looking at possibilities for a 30k SF warehouse for a new business location. All of the big national companies have mixed reviews, figured it might be easier to deal with someone local. This will be...

    Racedeck sample and my Vespa

I've never had a problem with my motorcycle either, but I guess if your stand is very sharp then it would do some damage. Most kickstands are smooth enough where it won't dig in too much. Racedeck withstands alot of abuse, but they're still going to get damaged if you scrape something sharp...

    Blackout

Sign vinyl - very cheap, easy to apply with soapy water and a squeegee or credit card, and 100% opaque. Measure, cut, apply, and trim around the edges.

    test

on my screen I see a little white box instead of blank space. I'm using Chrome for a browser so it displays it slightly differently. I right-clicked in that box and selected "copy image url" to figure out where the file was coming from.

Baseboard heat not keeping up with set temp?

Having the same issue today in my place in NY, it's sub-zero temperatures tonight - output temp set at 190, thermostats set at 68, house is still only getting up to 62. Adding a ton of insulation is my next project, it's just a drafty house.

Old metal cabinets? Value? CL find

Here in NY they're selling for a TON more: http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/for/4763485595.html Exact same cabinets! Granted it looks like this ad has more units for sale, but still much more pricey.

Fuel Oil Tank Removal - how hard?

Full or empty? If empty, takes two people with lifting straps, or just two strong guys just lifting by hand. If full, almost impossible. However, get an electric oil pump at Tractor Supply for 100 bucks, pump it into barrels then move the tank. If you can, get an extra long line so you can...

I'm so confused. Help me out here

Being practical all the time gets boring. A Yugo is just as practical as a Ferrari - they both will get you to where you want to go. A Ferrari, though, is so much more fun!
