I just tried to purchase some of the gearwrench stuff, the 3/8" cushion grip must be out of stock. Wasn't able to purchase anything else either, the sears checkout system isn't working.

I wouldn't even know how to explain it. If you need to know I can PM some photos to you, it would make it much easier to understand.

It was a 60" wide desk, my box is 66" wide. Wouldn't have been worth it to try to widen it to fit perfectly. Besides, I don't mind having a little space to set things like a coffee cup or aerosol can when the top is closed up.

This guy had this one built at a local sheet metal shop about 7 years ago for $400, including hinges and latch, he had to paint it himself. It's huge, and very well built.

Two of the techs at work have side cabinets built by a local sheet metal shop. If I remember I'll take a few pics tomorrow.:thumbup:

We install one piece semi-truck windshields using some cheap rubber suction cups, they seem to work fine.
