    How to handle flake distribution on an epoxy floor that's too big to do in one shot.

    1400 ft is a lot for one guy on a full flake floor. Your chosen manufacturer doesnt offer a color matched primer you can broadcast directly into? Thin with some iso and apply at 150 sq ft a gallon to give yourself a little more working time. And grab another guy who can just back roll for you.

    Cost for a professionally done epoxy job ?

    $4.50-$6 a sq ft in Minnesota depending on if its a 2 coat epoxy top coat or a 2 coat polyaspartic top coat. Includes diamond prepping the slab. Most of your high grade resin manufactures will not warranty the project without a mechanical grind.

    Always grind. Use General Polymers 3579 primer in chosen color and topcoat in a color matched urethane. Tough as nails and cost effective. Done in 2 days.

    Full flake floor with 2 coats of polyaspartic, adjust the anti slip to your liking through samples. Half the cost of a metallic and twice as durable. Looks great too.
