    Harbor Freight ratchet pricing.

A lot of the stuff is still in the monthly catalog at "normal" prices. Of course, it says those prices are valid until 10/31, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next month.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I installed a new suspension on my 4Runner. After selling my ‘67 Cougar last summer, I’ve wanted to tinker with something, so I turned my evil hands on the unsuspecting Toyota. I tossed on Bilstein 6112/5160 shocks, some 1.5” lift Wheelers Offroad T13 Springs, new wheels and tires. My son even...

Came for the ideas, stuck around for the witty banter

Hi all. I'm just an average dude with a suburban 3 car *cough* ok ,2.5 car garage. I signed up quite some time ago, but never got around to posting much. Mainly, I'd see something interesting, and try to apply it to my garage. I don't have any grand ideas of turning my garage into something...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I hung my stepladder between my two doors today. The two ladders are nice and light and the distance between the doors was perfect. Being tall helps reach the stepladder without needing a step stool.

    Hockey Snap Together Tiles

If he doesn't need to be on skates, I bought project board/white board at Home Depot a few years back for my son. My basement is basically a hockey rink (16 sheets of whiteboard), regular pucks slide on it really well. I'm billeting a 16 year old AAA player and he uses it all of the time with a...

Garage Door Insulation, with a twist!

We do. The window manufacturer states "working as designed". The builder sold the development and is long gone. It's mostly a late spring, early fall issue. I do wonder if planting a tree on that side of the driveway is an option. The husband next door was astonished that it was a problem, but...

Garage Door Insulation, with a twist!

The only item that may have been through the closed door is the Jeep. The other items, the door was open. My son came running in when his goalie pads caught fire. The Jeep may have been warped due to heat off the door. Regardless, I’m dealing with a high heat concentrated beam. I’m wondering if...

Garage Door Insulation, with a twist!

I have a specific issue with insulating my garage door. My neighbor has energy efficient windows. The reflection from those windows is significant enough that the heat has warped a small section of the hatch on my wife's Jeep, so I'm dealing with a magnifying glass type situation. The one thing...

Getting ready to start my 2 car attached

Hello all, I'm just beginning the real remodel of my garage. As real as I can attempt. Just your average suburban home with an attached two car. It's definitely multipurpose, kid storage, yard tool storage, beer fridge, workshop, etc. It's also going to to take a bit of creativity, as my truck...
