I deal with them regularly....never a problem.. Co. gets 30% discount. They carry alot more than the catalogue would indicate. I regularly call various mfg. for part/model # then call grainger an they have a stock number (not listed) for it.
When I bought my proto 41" I called proto first and told them the drawer config I wanted(more deeper drawers). they gave me a model number based on that. I then ordered it thru tools plus. Not sure if US general or CM will do that but it's always an option to get the brand and setup you want

Looking for blackhawk 7/8,15/16,1-1/8,1-1/4 combo satin chrome wrenches to buy or trade. also looking for a challenger L6118 9/16" combo wrench and proto 8,10, and 15" adjustable wrenches preferrably industrial finish.
I learned of Japanese Industrial Standard thru RC flying. A place called central hobbies has a 5 pc set of hard handles, the largest being roughly equivelant to a #2 phillips in size for like $20
i agree with stephen... motion industries is the local distributor here, the only thing they cant get usa made is 3/4 drive sets. Williams is headquartered here in GA
from what ive seen, in the absence of pics, taiwanese part numbers are numerical 5 digit. USA made are the alpha-numeric part numbers. I have a blue point 1/4 ratchet, and a co-worker has a williams 1/4(taiwanese)....same ratchet.
not really sure if their superior to klein. I have klein in my bag and t&b in my cart. Both are 15 plus yrs old, I use both daily and both are excellent crimpers.
MSC has the 41" 440ss Proto 15 drawer roller for $799 thru November. I have one and its rock solid. US Gereral is a nice box, but I know from experience they dont hold up in an industrial setting when used as a roller on the production floor.
