Nope. The heater needs to be installed and inspected by a qualified plumber. I can't even change out my gas oven without a plumber. lol

That's a good idea, and I did that yesterday. One contractor came, barely took any measurements and said it'll be around $4k, but he'll get back to me with an official proposal. I called another and they told me $4k without even coming out! So these guys telling me with the cost of the heater...

I've been lurking around for a while and finally decided to register. I've been looking at installing a HD60 in my 3 car garage. Do you mind telling me where you found yours for that price? That's pretty good compared to what I've been finding around.
