I bought a very small wilton vise. It's unrestored, and will stay that way.

Here is my second Wilton. It's the "baby" I have always wanted a Wilton vise. When I saw the Baby, I had to have it too. They are in great mechanical condition, and all paint "that remains" is original and unrestored. The large one is 1970, and the small one is June 1969.

So here is Old Blue apart. Many parts resemble the Wilton, but looks crude to me. If I want to use it in my garage, I will blast it, and drill and tap for new jaws. Not too crazy about it, but it works and is all there, and now re lubed with white lithium grease for storage.

You had to ask lol. It was something Budweiser was trying for promoting sales to Israel. I came across it, and thought I'd hang on to it. It's been kicking around in my rollaway for 30 years. One side English, the other Israeli.

The first post (old blue) has no markings, except 1644. Did Wilton make one without the embossing? The protective is just something that I have learned over years of experience. If it can Bite you.....well you know.

Here is my regular large vise. I use it, but bought the smaller one for more delicate work. Anyway, I bought this one ten years ago, and the owner just told me it was old. I was actually buying a 1957 King Seeley band saw from him, and he threw this in. I didm't realize it, but he was dying...

Hi, I'm new, and this is my first post. I just recently bought a vise that I have always wanted (Wilton bullet 9300), which fits what I need. Here it is Major upgrade for me :D I was looking at my other old vice that I no longer use, and trying to get a ref. on it I see the number 1644...
