How about these diagonal cutters with the original box? Found in a rusty old Simonsen cantilever toolbox that I picked up with another toolbox full of tools on OfferUp.
The small needle nose under them are Snap-On from 1959, and both took a quick run on the wite wheel before this picture.
I had to replace a broken pressure gauge on the hydraulic system for the Amada laser at work. I reached into my box and grabbed the trusty tappet wrenches sitting in there, and the job was easy.
Those are great! I wish my dad had kept his old tools, but he keeps buying new ones all the time. I'm building up a toolbox for my 17 year old son, and am moving my older decent import tools and 1990's craftsman stuff that I bought at his age over to his box as I keep buying someone else's dad's...
That's about the time period I was thinking. I'm pretty sure it is a complete unit, and plan on doing a little rust removal before putting it into service in my small garage. I'd like a regular sized or benchtop press, but that's just not in the budget anytime soon.
