    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

I agree these are a "HUGE FAIL" I bough 3 sets at the same time and only about half of them can even be tightened enough to hold much of anything. The other half work fine. I know yours is not the sets I speak of but the sets are identical to your 12"

Our major corps here really don't give a damn about chinese laborers, they would only try to protect thier consumer image here in the USA. If they could get really cheap labor here...

    1946 Craftsman 80 Drill Press

It will work with the tag on but it will not get anythiing that is under the tag. If the tag has coloring (paint or other type of coloring) that has rust under it the color will come off. So I would remove it then reattach with identical or as similar as possible fasteners. I am assuming they...

Electrolysis is a great way to remove rust and it's easy and fun to do. All you need is an old home battery charger (in some of the info I read when I began doing this the newer chargers don't seem to work as well as the old ones without automatic LOL don't even know what it's called anymore), a...

Yeah at first I thought he was outta line because of the way he did it, kinda still do, but the DP was not even worth 40 in my opinion. So what goes around comes around. He did OK if he is willing to put in good condition. OH by the way this is a very good board -- just in case you are...

And it turned out she wasn't really that old -- if I recall it being said that she appeared to be in her 40s -- maybe I read it wrong. Anyway she, of course, was trying to play the dollar game also and prolly wouldn't have gotten any more than he paid. I wouldn't have considered it at 40 bucks...
