I didn't get that many pic of the install, but my meter box mounting holes fit right on top of the high ribs. I had one in the center of the box so I cut down some conduit to match the height of the ribs and put some putty around it to keep the weather out. Then a o-ring 2inch main...
The gateway uses the 900 MHz frequency to talk to the opener so it's not quite as clean as using the original remote frequency garage door remote openers (after 1997) they operate in either 310, 315, or 390 MHz frequency ranges. At this low of frequency they can travel and penetrate better. but...

It makes sense to leave some extra wire in the box, even though I doubt I'll ever fill it up. I was leaving room between breakers for an heat just because I had the space, and cutting the circuit wires short to save some $ guess now not the time to get cheap.
