    A/C Manifold Gauge Sets

Just went through the same on my truck. AC parts kit from Rockauto, 2-3 cans of AC flush from local auto parts store, HF for tools (gauges, vac pump, resealing can adapter, scale) and R134 cans. Good to buy extra R134 cans in case of a bad seal, then return whatever you don't use.

Comfortable flex head ratcheting wrench set recommendations please

The Williams (also sold as Blue Point) wrenches are really nice. I have some singles I've been using professionally for years with no complaints. Definitely more comfortable than my regular Gearwrench sets. Look up MWS-12RCF

Are CAT sockets still Snap On/Williams?

Call it 20 years ago. 10 years back this exact discussion was still on this site, with the same silly justifications on why Snap-on branded sockets are magically different. My 1/4" deep Williams socket set included a Snap-on socket on the rail like 14 years ago. Posted it on here and obviously...

Recommend an inexpensive 3D printer please.

That hits WAY too close to home. Been fighting with stringing and retraction settings, printing endless test parts on my old Ender 3. Order is in for a fullsize A1 combo kit.

Seeking recommendations for ultra compact head 3/8" drive ratchet (1/4" body) for under $65

From the part number, that is a 3/8" stubby ratchet, not the 1/4" body model. That's why it's larger. The 1/4" body QR flex rachet they offer is perfect for hard to reach spark plugs. All the measurements and torque specs are on the site...

Carrying wrenches in a tool bag/tote

Wrench rolls. https://www.tekton.com/tool-storage/wrench-organization/wrench-pouches You may find out you're only using specific sizes for your job, so no need to haul around extras if a handful of specific sizes in a couple of pockets will work. Have you started the new gig yet?

    PC/Tool Backpack

I've had the older lay-flat style Klein, and currently have one of the (discontinued model?) laptop backpacks. Haven't tried the newest, but been real happy with the two I have. Have held up to plenty of abuse at work, and carry more than I need in most situations. I tried some Veto stuff and...

    Generator voltage question

Agree with wyliesdiesels, sounds like a loss of neutral issue. Check the output at the generator receptacle and check continuity through your cord to start.

Are extra-long air hammer bits useful?

They are mostly for driving long pins out of heavy equipment without getting your tool or hands in the hole. Not much use in auto settings.

    Air tool parts?

Literally the first search on eBay popped up an identical air ratchet, MAC AR2865 (made by Astro Pneumatic). If that flathead plug/cover is what you're looking for, it isn't shown as available. https://powertoolrepair.com/tools/Mac%20Tools/AR2865
