I brought home both the 227 pc w/case and this 300 pc set. Looking @ the origin on both, the 227 pc set is made in Taiwan while the 300 pc set is China. Comparing both, I can say that the fit/finish on the sockets is pretty much the same....with perhaps a slight nod to the 300 pc set (China)...
