    Makita lxt series, any reviews?

Use my LXT stuff everyday and use it hard. I have the impact driver, drill, SDS hammerdrill, Skilsaw, Sawzall, Jigsaw, and Angle Grinder. All have worked flawlessly. I will soon be adding a die grinder as well as an angled impact wrench.

    Should I keep Milky?

I would take them back if you can. I had all milwaukee cordless tools, 12V and 18V and was a loyalist for the brand. The batteries ALL quit on me and my sawzall just up and quit working after a year. I have given up on that brand and have moved on.

What is an exceptionally good 18 volt drill these days?

I also recommend makita. Use mine everyday and use it hard and it has given me no problems.

    recommend a torque wreanch

The thing about those mastercraft wrenches is that they go on sale for 55% or more off retail almost monthly. Its a known fact that you never buy anything at candian tire that isn't on sale. That being said, I have the 3/8 and 1/2 drive and cannot be happier. I'm a hobbyist though, not a pro.

My father in law buys me 2 pairs every christmas. Out of all my work socks, they are hands down my favorite.

Bosch PS60 12V recip saw compared to Milwaukee M12 Hackzall

I have the milwaukee one and a couple other M12 tools and I couldn't be more disappointed with them. I am an electrician and used that saw for drywall, thin plywood, and EMT up to 1". One day it just up and quit, and even when it was new the battery life was terrible. I am officially off...

    Cordless tool kits/combo's

They are the blue tools. I don't have the part no. for the kit I have but I did get them from home depot here in Canada. They have the kit on their site so perhaps HD in the US is the same. I plan on adding the sds hammerdrill in the near future as well. The bag that came with the set can...

    Cordless tool kits/combo's

I have the makita 18v Kit that includes, drill, impact driver, sawzall, skilsaw, angle grinder, and jig saw. I'm an electrician by trade and this kit has paid for itself many times over. I am happy with battery life and performance of all the tools except the angle grinder. It is expected...

Dewalt 12v max vs Milwaukee M12

I have the little sawzall and the drill with the M12 batteries. I am an electrician and use them daily and well within what they are intended for and I am less than impressed with the battery quality. I have 4 batteries and after 8 months of use, only 1 will accept a charge. I used to love...
