Speed Handles --- What They Good For?

Would this qualify as a speed handle? I found it years ago and it functions pretty good. Cordless and no batteries required.

If fixed the biggest flaw with vise grips

I just use another Vise Grip to clamp onto the screw to use when wearing gloves, but to get that one right I have to use another smaller vise grip on it. I finally ran out of vise grips.

New set of Allen Keys needed

Am I the only one who dislikes the ball end on the long end of the L shaped and T-Handle Allen wrenches? Most of the time you don't need it and it prevents it from standing upright as you change your hand position. Those without the ball end are different to find.

Speed Handles --- What They Good For?

It's interesting seeing who thinks they're worthless and who still uses them. I remember my father had an eggbeater drill that was occasionally used for drilling into wood. I can see how they've fallen out of favor. I've had this brace hanging on the garage wall for a long time, I used to play...

Speed Handles --- What They Good For?

I recently realized that I no longer use the speed handles, I now instead use a battery powered tool. It's too bad, as they can be fun and productive to use. The first one I bought about 40 years ago when I installed the garage doors at my house. There are multiple self-tapping 1/4" screws on...

Cordless Stick Vacuum for Garage Cleaning

Thanks for all the input and discussion. I do have a Dewalt leaf blower that I sometimes use towards the doors but using it throughout the garage blows up a lot of dust and dirt that then settles on the cabinets, grills and other stuff stored in the garage. It relocates some of the debris...

Cordless Stick Vacuum for Garage Cleaning

Like many of you I have an attached 2-car garage at my house. It gets leaves and dirt tracked & blown in. To sweep it one needs to remove the cars and other stuff and give it a thorough cleaning. That also raises dust, and at this time of the year pollen, that I end up inhaling unless I wear...

    Kitchen Exhaust hood on remodel

Interesting that one of the buttons is a hang man's noose. I'd be hesitant to press that one.

Someone needs to save this lathe.

I'd love to have a shop big enough to have that.

What to do with a 6 foot hydraulic cylinder😂😂

If it behaves like a gun part, before you know it you'll have enough spare parts to build a trash truck. Consider it a trash truck seed.

Question about why helicoils don't fail...

The helicoil has a larger diameter with more OD surface contact Add in the hardness of the thread contact with the fastener they just work.
