I had the issue w/the gap at the top of both of my doors, then again the guy that built my building is an idiot so I figured it was how he installed them at first.
I was more conserned on keeping my shop heated than birds. Turns out they make a "wind" gaurd that is more like broom brissels and...
The gaps are in between the doors themselves and in between the building. Which if I was going through all the work this guy is going through, don't you think that he might of measured a little better to have a little tighter tolarence on the fit of those doors? To be honest this detail to me...

Weather or not you like his ideas, comming from someone that has to do pretty much everything by myself I give the guy huge props for doing this on his own, just crazy.

I've tried searching the G.J. for pics of old buildings, warehouses, dealerships, firehouses, gas stations, and such made into garages, and or living spaces and only find 1 or 2 here and there. So lets start a pic thread of what's out there.
Looking into building something and would like to get...
Lots of old farm land in the surrounding areas of big cities, and as people move out of the city that is what is available.
What happens is someone will buy a couple hundred acres, and divide it up put in some streets and utilities and start selling off lots.
Here is my very little, and filled w/junk office (10x17) in my shop done w/osb.
I also included a few pics of the finished ceiling, (I'm kinda proud of how it turned out) now if I can just finish the rest of the shop I'd be ok!
In case anyone is wondering the light fixtures are gas pump globes.
