I don't think there is a need to fill drum with rock. I would just line the hole with landscape fabric, then put some rock in the bottom, then set the drum in (with holes drilled), then fill around with rock, then fabric and dirt on top. I have helped install a few 55gal drum septic systems...

You removed the "outer" lug nut for the outer tire, but not the "inner" lug nut for the inner tire. The square ended inner lug nut needs to be removed as well. It was an easy thing to miss. Good luck!

It works fine because the dogs are the same. They are not marked left or right nor does it matter. The only thing that matters is which side the rounded end with the little notch goes. If you install the dogs with the rounded end wrong it limits the movement of the dog. Your ratchet looks...
