    Cleaning epoxy floor with buffer?

Can I possibly rent a floor buffer to do a deep cleaning of my epoxy (well urethane top coat) floor? Not sure if there is a pad available suitable for this or if anything I used would be too abrasive. Thanks

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

Just to update, Taurus SC has completely kicked their *** in less than 2 days. Used to be crawling around all over outside, now there's nothing. Thanks! :)

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

Seems I may have thought the problem was worse than it is? I took all of the bolts out of the roof cap and pulled up the edges to look in. I was expecting thousands of ants to come flying out but to my surprise I didn't see a single ant in there. (though walking around on the roof in the past...

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

Sounds good, I will take a look around for ant activity but it's just unkept woods basically with branches and trees everywhere. I can gather the dead stuff and burn it however. The winged ants are definitely ants, thin middle body/bent antennae. Just ordered some stuff from the...

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

Thanks for the info guys. I put the terro bait traps inside and on the roof of the building and also diatomaceous earth all over the peak as well. Also on the inside peak I put a bunch of protein/pellet bait. Getting a ton of dead ants inside the place but I'm thinking I may have to pull the...

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

The place is nearly an operating room. Nothing to draw them in. I think they are after condensation at the peak of the roof, how do I get rid of that? Thanks guys

Ants coming in under roof cap, any suggestions?

I have a spray foamed pole barn and the ridge cap is "sealed" to the roof with what appears to be molded foam strips that fit the contour of the roof panels. I've noticed ants have burrowed through this foam and are entering the building through this area under the ridge cap. I just put a...

    36x47 Eldorado workshop

Thanks guys :) I broke up with my long time girlfriend and had to sell the Eldorado in order to pay down some debt and keep the house. So I guess it's the Ferrari workshop now? A/C and heat unit works killer but I think it has an easy job due to the spray foam insulation.

2 post lift question?? Need some advice.

Agreed. Top plate on my Bendpak seems pretty sturdy. Don't see it deflecting much at all under a compression load in this application. Also, at the time I bought mine (about 10 years ago) they built it 6" shorter for my ceiling height. Maybe they or another manufacturer will still do a custom...

Anyone decided against radiant then regretted it?

I didn't have a choice as the garage/concrete was already there. Went with a package unit (gas heat and also a/c) and spray foam insulation. I keep the thermostat at 62, it's perfect in there. Floors feel warm and there is no insulation under the slab. Recovers in minutes after the door has...

    What color epoxy?

It does show everything. (dirt, scratches) but has awesome reflectivity. Undercarriage of vehicles are very well lit. If that is of less importance to you, a normal chipped floor would make dirt and imperfections much less noticeable.
