Born in Iowa; joined the Army in 1952 & spent 16 mo. in Korea. Came home w/a Purple Heart & Bronze Star. Married in 1955 and I have 6 boys and 1 (#3) girl. Worked managing power plants in Iowa and then 27 years in Vt. doing the same thing. Project Mgr. building a 59MW wood-fired plant in Burlington that came in 17% under budget! I am quite proud of that and of my family.
