I am kind of doing that while staying in my budget if that makes since. I have always heard if you buy a good midrange tool and take care of it odds are it will last you.
That being said at home I have a very nice set of MAC USA sockets shallow/deep Metric and SAE. I love them. But those are my...
I just placed the order for this one here. I liked the idea of not having someone's name on it but instead a old business. This one will go onto my personal keys that is on me daily. The current Ed Newcombe one I have will go onto my work keys or onto my truck keys. It will still be used but...
If you ever wanted to part with this one I would buy this off you! My family has a special love for Massey Fergusson tractors! This is a cool piece you have here! And I love the fact it is so worn it looks great!
Yeah that is what I was kind of wondering. I at first thought it was a fake but what you say makes me feel better. I love it all the same. I really like the fact that right now I am employed by Stanley Black and Decker so I have a soft spot for Proto and cool old school tools.
This is one reason I got away from Crapsman almost entirely now yes I know alot of companies do skip sizes but I work on everything from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Honda to farm equipment and I have learned to appreciate socket sets with no skips. Maybe this is one reason I love my Pittsburgh Pro 225...
That's awesome! I am a North East Iowan and a fellow John Deere fan. Although you have me beat by alot lol! I really like that Toyota truck you have pictures of!!
I ordered this off Ebay a few days ago and got it today. I have wanted one of these for a while and figured for $16 I needed one now. The add said New old stock proto j100 on the back it has Ed Newcombe. Not sure on the date but I like this alot I don't plan on removing it from my keys ever...
For screwdrivers I would save money and get the HF Pittsburgh Pro 10 pc set for $10 there really great for the money.
I would also made my own little road tool kit but I took the 225 piece Pittsburgh Master tool kit since it has all the sockets in all 3 drive sizes, some wrenches, pliers and a...
I would say if you use them on a breaker bar or ratchet of any kind you will be fine with the Titan. I however wouldn't want to use it on a impact. I do however suggest looking into Ko ken like someone else said they have a impact socket set with the sleeves on it but you will have to order the...

This right here is a hugely over looked thing for most people. I soak my ratchets in AFT for the first day after buying them then occasional soaks after just to keep it all working and well lubed.
For me I prefer Non QR but I don't mind them either. Hell I rather have a QR on a 1/4dr ratchet and non QR on 3/8dr and 1/2dr. The QR ratchets I love are the Harbor Freight 1/4dr roto heads. Those are some of the best ones I have ever used and I really enjoy using them. I find for 1/4dr stuff...
