Not on mine. If you look the the hydraulic and electrical connections come off the left side. The only way to make it 'work' would be to flip the unit around 180 deg. I don't personally think it makes a difference in the lift's operation.

Yes I had someone add a 20amp 240v outlet for the lift. Shouldn't need it with the 110V models, but depending on which one you bought you might need an air supply if it uses a pneumatic release for the locks.

I have not measured my cars from outer tire to outer tire. Frankly never considered it. I only measured the distance between the jack points, since those are the relevant values. You're right -- when I drive the M5 on the lift the tires barely overhang laterally on each side of the platform...

Yeah looks like site is down. There is this other site: https://autool.us/products/electric-mid-rise-scissors-lift ....or ebay as you mentioned. I checked my shipping info -- my lift came from their Bolingbrook, IL warehouse.

Nope the lift ain't moving. Garage isn't huge so don't really have a place to move it, so I've gotten used to driving up on it every day without issues.

Nothing fancy. I didn't put formal 'anchors' like you would for a MaxJack setup. I just placed the lift where I wanted it in the garage. There are several holes built into the lift that I drilled right through into the garage floor (keeping the lift in place). Blew out the concrete dust, then...

Crazy. They had a 6 month wait list LAST year which prompted me to get this unit. Still very happy with this style of lift and this specific brand. No issues. Life is so much better/easier with a lift. I still drive over it each day with my daily driver. A car is lifted at least once or twice a...

Which unit did you go with? Can't really help you, since my electrical wires were color coded quick connects. (see attached photo) Have you tried lifting up the top of the console where the controls are? I bet the other end of the connector might be there...

Not much, some piping and AC ducts that could have been rerouted. There's no storage, just a crawl space basically. Maybe 18" or 24"? Not insignificant I realize that. My ceilings are 8.5" so any additional height would have been welcome. I will admit cost was a major factor in my decision...

No reason why it couldn't. Unless the scissors lifts that have been extensively described in these forums that are flush mounted, this one will need more concrete 'dug out' to make room for the crossing bar that travels as the unit lifts. Also there is no specific concrete thickness requirements...

So I lied. My platform goes up to 39". What's your wheelbase but also whats the measurements between the jackpoints?. The extensions CAN be detached, but there are spring clips (x4) keeping them in place at all corners. Doable, but not quick/easy. If you look at the original images, the ramps...

Yeah I have considered that -- good idea. I purchased from them directly, I don't believe they have a dealer. The website (https://www.autokato.com/wheel-balancer-tire-changer-lift-garage-equipment-AK-X80-p.html) lists it at 41.25" and that's about what I got last time I measured. That seems...

X80. I don't know the differences, but online looks like the x85 is 110v compared to 220v. So far it's been great. For example. Was trying to troubleshoot some rattling after installing an exhaust. Came home, had the car up in the air in seconds and figured it out while still in work...

Autokato mid rise scissor lift review

First post here, long time lurker. This is my experience with the Autokato (aka Katool) Mid Rise Scissor lift. I hope this helps someone who was in my position. Like many, I wanted a lift to work on my vehicles. Ideally I would have a separate shop space, tall ceilings with a 2 post lift. I...
