    Picked up an AM CO vise from Athol Mass model 93 for $40 today. It weighs 67 lbs.After partially cleaning it up noticed a crack at the rear anvil area. Hope this doesn't affect the integrity of this vise. I thought it could possibly be an Athol vise. See the photos.

    Starrett Athol Vise history info

    Does anyone have information on the Starrett vises? I have seen 900 series and 600 series. Tried calling Starrett and was advised to call Yost since the rep said they no longer sell vises. Thanks.
