I agree. Again not a podiatrist here, just personal experience. I wear zero rise, wide toe shoes, almost 100% of the time. Work boots are my exception. Drinking water, getting electrolytes, and other vit/minerals can definitly be a contributing factor. Good luck, hopefully you see some...

Dang, that framing looks beefy! 8" thick walls? Really impressive looking. The wood looks like good quality, what type is it?

Looks awesome! Interesting use of spray foam. I have never seen it applied that way before. Thanks for sharing the progress.

Looks like a great trip! Not a tire wizard here so maybe these are not A/T tires but I find my BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A (T/A vs A/T, IDK the difference) tires to be very quiet on the road. I have them mounted on my 98 Silverado. Your LandRover should have more sound deadening than my truck so...

Yeah seriously. I also have been around for most or all of this thread and without looking back I remember the bathroom tile reno, kitchen cabinets, countertops, the wood in the living room ceiling being redone, those cabinets in the living room with the fans displayed, and the countless...

Mike, nice job on finishing the attached garage. The space turned out well. I think the detail that does it for me was having the forethought to finish the foundation wall on the left of this picture. Having that wall finished makes it look right. Leaving it unfinished and seeing the concrete...

Lawn is looking great. Do you know what type of grass you have there? Looking for something good for my lawn here in MN.

Super cool! Stillwater is only 30 mins from me. Great little town on the river.

Understand not wanting to take the tree....but it is the wrong type of tree to have that close to the house. Enjoy it before it is gone, they are massive trees for sure. I had a huge one looming over my last house as well. So much debris in my gutters/ roof every year I don't miss that.

My last house had very heavy tree coverage. Even living in a suburb just outside the freeway ring gave me basically zero cell coverage in that house. This was before Verizon finally incorporated Wifi Calling. At that time I picked up one of Verizon's ( Samsung unit) pico cell towers that you put...

Since you asked for internet opinions I'll feel free to chime in.... based on what you have said about your lack of RV desire I would personally not add the barn doors shown on the end of the first pic. You show plenty of concrete in your renderings so if someone wanted to park an RV they could...

Lawn mower for 1 acre lot

Lawn tractor if you need the utility of performing other tasks besides mowing. Otherwise for pure mowing a zero turn is faster and more maneuverable. For my 1 acre of mowed grass I ended up with a John Deere Z530R, a bit higher than your $4K budget. Depending on what your long term goals are you...
