    Craftsman Drill Press 103.0303

Yeah, that's my main concern. I plan on making my own 3 spoke type handle similar to the ones found on the bigger floor models (something along the lines of the King Seely lineup). I've also realized that some of the teeth on the pinion shaft are damaged as well, so now I'm looking into buying a...

Show us your cool, "old" drill press

I've been looking on FB daily, but haven't seen any 103.0303 presses for sale that are even remotely local to my area (Ohio) If anybody finds anything that's not 5 hours away, let me know! (Can also be 304 or 305)

I didn't know know that there were multiple models in this lineup. I thought it was a one and done kind of deal. I actually plan to make a stand for it later down the road to turn it into a floor style model.

Oh, that's pretty cool! There's none for sale in my area that I've seen. How'd you find those if you don't have FB?

I've been trying that as well. So far, I've only found 2 and they were on Ebay. Only one has the parts I need and unfortunately, the seller doesn't want to part it out. It's priced crazy high at I think $600, which I'm obviously not going to do, so that's a no go. The other one was over $200...

I'm going to make something. I have some ideas. I think I may redo the paint as well later down the road. I love the silver and red, so I'll probably just redo it and paint the handle to match whenever I make it. I have a 113 series table saw that I plan on possibly repainting to match as well...

Aftermarket is totally fine for me. I even considered making something like this 3 spoke handle for it. I think it fits the aesthetic (not too crazy about the stock handle honestly). The top pulley cover is something I really want to find OEM if possible, but I'm not opposed to aftermarket...

Just picked up this 103.0303 press! Excited to do some restoration work on it, but looking to keep it minimal so as to retain originality. That being said, I need some help finding parts. Currently, I am missing the "mohawk" cover, a quill spring (broken) and the feed down handle. I could...

    Craftsman Drill Press 103.0303

Just picked up this awesome thing! Don't know if this thread is still active or not, but I need some help. I cannot find a "mohawk" cover anywhere! I'm also missing the feed down handle and need a new quill spring because it snapped. If anybody could steer me in the right direction, I'd really...
