Sorry I have seen this one your better off with the Craftsman

Can you please explain why Ace carrying Craftsman is a bad thing?

They are doing test stores if all goes well Craftsman will get it's own aisle, so I was told.

Those are pretty bad but none of mine have those defects and I ordered my 299 pcs set from that very same woodfield store 2 years ago. In fact my larger sizes use the old single style detent and all of them are the duel marked style. I must have got a good batch?

I actually like the Craftsman detent system they seem to hold the socket better and have less slack between ratchet and socket. I would also like to have black oxide sockets I have never been a big fan of chrome anything.

How is that a bad sign? Allen tools have a contract in Ace stores they are just replacing Allen tools with Craftsman if any thing it's bad for Allen.

I know the people at my local Ace and they told me they are just swapping the Allen brand they stock now for the Craftsman brand because the name will sell more.
