Old Handy lift table (anyone else using an OG table?)

Just got an old Handy table from a friend - works just fine, albeit pretty low by today's standards. I like old stuff, I guess. Anyone else still using one? (please excuse the mess - the shop is still a disaster)

KFC sign project - LED retrofit advice needed.

Thanks! I’m working on the vinyl when no one’s looking. (I’m self-employed, but my boss is an a$$hole.)

KFC sign project - LED retrofit advice needed.

I'm doing a They Live-inspired KFC sign for the shop, and can use some advice about lighting it. First, it's around 7'x14' and will be wall-mounted. This is the sign: I want to backlight it with pale blue LEDs that pulse with the stereo on the other end of the shop, so I have 2 primary...

    Matco VT46 valve core tool

Well, I sat down to locate a replacement for my favorite valve core tool, and according to the Internet, it does not and has never existed – so now I have to have one, over all other similar tools. Do any of you have one of these? Or have any of you ever seen one? I’m in the market.

WTB - old craftsman foam wrench racks/holders

[EDIT - Guys, someone on FB gave me the part number, and I was able to grab 3 NOS sets from eBay. Here's the part number if anyone is looking for them in the future: Craftsman 65397 Universal Tool Box Drawer Divider System.] guys, I know these were cheap and all, but I can't find them anymore...

Does anybody do wrenching without gloves & why?

I don't know if I've responded to this already (I've been away a while) - I prefer latex over nitrile for dexterity, and when I had techs who complained about wearing gloves (it was mandatory in my shop), they usually were wearing sizes that were way too large - they should be skin tight, no...

    Garage Speakers

hit the thermal protection on my Adcom 545II amp by cranking it for a couple of hours one night recently, so I went to a 555II - could not be happier - it's not as loud, but sounds better with the SDAs and doesn't get anywhere close to the heat of the 545II. (I am moving that one to my mountain...

    Thanks, guys, for the wisdom!

    Garage Speakers

This probably doesn't help the OP, but it's an excuse to show my shop setup. :) I've collected FB marketplace deals and am completely satisfied with my little system - Polk SDAs from the early 80s powered by Adcom amp and preamps from the 90s, with an obsolete Brennan B2 as the source (you can...

any way to weld nuts with a Lenco Panelmaster?

Thanks! That's the unit I have, and you've answered my question exhaustively! Apparently, a specific tool is needed for what I want to achieve. BTW, the 36 ftlbs. was going on memory for what we torqued the M8s to in the Porsche world (sounds like I was pretty close)

any way to weld nuts with a Lenco Panelmaster?

It does. Might be overkill for some m8 weld nuts, though... Trying to get an OEM look on the product (and save time) It's for battery tray mounting, so it would need to withstand some torque. (around 36 ftlbs)

any way to weld nuts with a Lenco Panelmaster?

I'm looking at using collared or piloted weld nuts in some products, but the only tool I have that seems like it might work to weld them is my Lenco PM. Is this a far-fetched idea? I have zero knowledge about weld nuts.
