    Lighting recommendation please

I have read a few of the light threads here. I have some ideas based on what I read in those threads, but I just wanted to mention a few things. I have a 15' x 25' space I'm going to need to light in my home shop. It has a concrete floor and originally had bare inside wood construction, but I...

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Just curious if anybody has noticed this.. I just saved the 20% off coupon I received in an email from HF. I sent the picture to my work email so I could print it. When I pulled up the coupon to print it, the bar codes on the bottom were gone. What the heck..lol

    Harbor Freight Coupon Thread

Didn't know I could do this. I will look into it. The only thing that concerns me is the cost, and how long I may need it. I have a feeling that whatever the problem is may take a few days to find, and then I will have to go and rent again..that type of stuff. If it turns out to be more trouble...

Hey folks. I need to buy a set of AC manifold gauges for vehicles, and also a vacuum pump. A quick search of the Harbor freight site shows the gauges at about $55, and a decent vacuum pump at about $105. I need to know if you guys have reviewed either of these, and if they seem like good...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

Thanks folks :) I don't know how much they weigh. The keys laying beside them ought to give you some sort of reference to their size. They are brass. handles are tool steel. Should have used something different for the handles. You can see the handle on the smallest one, I use it the most...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

It has been years, but I did end up building a box. After really considering all that was involved, I decided to just make a small carry box. It is made of 300 series stainless, and has an included tray on the inside with matching handle. the latches, lock, and piano hinge all came from McMaster...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

No Merkava, they are one of our biggest competitors though. I work for Madix Inc. We have 4 plants - Texas, 2 in Alabama, and 1 in Massachutesettes. I talked with the plant manager earlier, and he said that everything was cool. He said to send him the drawings of the parts and asked me to try...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

Just got some good news guys. I talked with the guy at our other plant that runs the laser, and he said he wouldn't mind at all cutting me the stuff that I need. He said that he would be gald to do it. I will send him a CAD file once I get it drawn up, and he will cut it directly from that. All...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

I think I'm going to go for this guys. I have seen enough and I have no reason to believe that I cannot do it. I got in touch with one of our sister plants, and I have a inquery in for some sheet metal. We have a sheetmetal department in our plant but the only thing we have is 20 and 22 gauge...

Anybody ever try to build your own toolbox / toolchest, or did you buy yours?

Let me start by saying that I discovered this board when I googled a certain box I was interested in buying. This board came up where someone was reviewing a box, and I figured I would join in with you guys. looks like a great board for tool discussion. On to my dillema - I will say that I am...
