My Mr cool gets pretty close to set point in my 12'celing garage as long as I have my celing fan running to keep the air moving. Pretty much all manufacturers say to set the temp for comfort as the thermocouple is in the head unit and it is heated all the time.
Ingram's sent out the new condenser. I hooked it up , pressure tested and vac down the line set and evap unit and all good to go now. Here is a pic of the new Gen 4 unit, they completely changed the tubing coming out of the accumulator, must have had a vibration issue with previous design glad...
Thanks Yes it is a filter accumulator not much experience with these new heat pumps. Unfortunately the compressor was running for 5 days pressure switch never shut it down, thing was quite hot when I realized that it was not working.
Polling to see if anyone else has had the same issue with their 3rd gen Mr cool DIY 24K unit condenser part # DIY-24-HP-C-230B. Mine stopped working a week ago and I put my gages on it and there was zero refrigerant in the unit. I looked back at my power meter meter reading and since it is in my...
Outside condenser had a rapid depressurization, put my vacuum pump on and line sets and evaporator is fine will hold 500micron of vac for hours. The min I open the valves on the condenser the vacuum shoots up, I am able to pull it down some but the min I shut off the pump it climbs rapidly...
Same exact issue with mine. We had an extended power outage and I turned it back on after the outage and same issue. Mine is a diy 24k unit had it about 2 years. The outside unit is running fine and the pipes are quite hot just no heat getting to the inside coil. Trying the 30 min no power reset...
Did you find out the cause of your issue? I currently have the same problem my pipes are hot but no heat on the inside. It happened after a power outage trying the 30min reset.
Wow didn't realize it has been so long since I have posted on this thread. This past summer i installed a 8.5KW solar system on the garage and was able to cover almost every square inch of my south facing roof. The system is an enphase with individual inverters. Not a bad price once I figure...
I purchased these, they have amazing sound and take input from my phone or my TV. I mostly stream all my music. My garage is 1000sqft and all the sound and base I need. keep them up on top of my cabinets. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352993162270
I love the rapid air product did my entire 28x36 garage with it. I opted for a 3/4 loop around the ceiling then did 6- 1/2" drops around the walls and one down my lift. I did not purchase the straightener and didn't have a problem getting the pipe straight just unwound it carefully on the floor...
