    "Inactive Thread" Warning?

Some forums disable replying to old topics but I'd much rather just a warning like you suggest. Numerous times I look for manuals etc for old stuff and come across topics with no answer. It would be best to still be able to add that information when I find it so others can come across it.

Import Tire Machine/ Balancer Combos Or Good Used?

Haweka (and others) make sleeves. They even do them for my 28mm balancer.

    Quality Dremel Style Tool?

Pneumatic die grinders have collets available to fit the small Dremel type attachments. My cheapest die grinder had the collet included. Even the cheapest pneumatic die grinder you can find will likely work better than a Dremel.

    venting car exhaust from shop

I have only just made it and used it once but what I did is use one of these cheap dust extractors. For the hoses I used the cheap flexible aluminium ducting. From my research heat isn't a big issue unless it is for dyno use. I have roller doors open at both ends of the "shop" but I always...

Dewalt customer service. I get better help from the cat.

Some people don't have time to sit on the phone, especially if the support is only in business hours. I do not understand companies which still only deal via phone. For example, my phone is locked away at work except for the short time for lunch etc. I'm not sitting on hold for an entire break...

    Trolley jack identification new user

There are a lot of old European or British manufacturers that not many people on here would know (most are in the USA). Bradbury, Compac and AC Hydraulic are just the ones I know and I'm not even over there.

No, Allen test products. The following articles are from 1986 and 1988.

I do believe the support was AI but your source of confirmation is also AI. Your AI answer is referencing home depot. Why would the answer be on the home depot website? It won't be. AI has found some irrelevant page.

    Trolley jack identification new user

I would suggest posting it on mig-welding.co.uk There is much better chance at someone on there being able to identify it.

    Churchill 1/2" I.D.

VL Churchill sold and ran training for Allen testproducts products. If you come across anything about Allen products, I am very interested. Allen (an American company) even setup a factory in the UK.

Import Tire Machine/ Balancer Combos Or Good Used?

Pin plates are used with a cone. They are used to improve the consistency of the cone mounting, not as the only mounting method. I bought a Haweka set at an auction cheaply ($200 AUD) but it didn't have the studs for my wheels and those were going to cost me heaps more. I also realised it...

Why didnt Sun get into OBD diag?

Basically all new products after the acquisition by Snap-on were branded Snap-on or at least Snap-on designs branded as Sun. Sun seems to have become just a name instantly. For Sun Europe, apparently they bought themselves during the Snap-on acquisition. That's why they still exist over there...

Where can i buy these JIS Bits?

I'll guess you saw an AI search result. AI makes up all kinds of garbage. It sees one tiny bit of information on the same page as something else and associates it together.

    Snap-On Counselor and others.

I have spent more than that just making the leads for my MT1665. The MT1665 itself didn't cost me much though. Wish I could find deals like that.

Where can i buy these JIS Bits?

I have used PZ4 but never JIS 4 or phillips 4. I have never noticed that any larger sizes even exist. The only similar thing I can think of is for use in a pole shoe screwdriver. If anyone made such bits, I imagine that Koken would.
