I have a BYB lift and the casters. I do use them once in a while to move it. The casters are cantilevered so that when the cross arms drop they push the columns up to clear the floor. I don't think you can do the same thing with a furniture dolly.

Same here. I used the transition edging for a nice finished look at the front edge.
