The desmond has 2 thin coverage coats of Rustoleum Candy Apple Red over one thin coat of rustoleum etching primer. Looks great but not so durable so I also covered it in 3 or 4 coats of urethane 2k automotive clear. I probably went overboard but I enjoy painting.

I have beaten the hell out of my 18V li-ion hitachi 1/2 impact for 2 years and It still keeps on going. I have been very impressed with their li-ion tool line for the price. Irregardless, air tools always win.
