I am sure this kind of roof is not unique to Europe. It is around 2 to 3 inches thick. As i don't have the garage door installed, i don't know about the isolation capacities of the roof. I will tell you more later !
You are right, the kitchen is IKEA but with a lot of classic brass handles. It is quite simple to build, but it took me a lot of time... See the story in the following pics !

Well, these little cars are so charming... and my very first car was a Triumph Spitfire (and i still have it !), so it makes me feel young each time i drive it !:)

We had a beautiful weather this week-end, so i picked up my old MG and bring it to the new garage ! TC3471 is the first car to enjoy the new place !
There is a lot a work to finish the place : heaters, door...etc

We changed the kitchen in the house but i kept the old cabinets, thinking they may be reused in the garage...
