    Who the !#/% is Tachlife

I'd like to know who comes up with these no longer generic Chinese brand names, that are often english sounding nonsense like tachlife. I was shopping for a coffee grinder on Amazon a while ago, and found a bunch of these nonsense brands names like Sboly, CHARDOR, StoK, and Suewow. If you can't...

Kastar/Lang versus ARP tools for thread chasing

I have the Lang Tools # 2584 15 piece metric thread chaser set, and it's a great tool. I bought the metric only set since I generally don't work on very old American cars, and it's much cheaper than the full SAE/Metric set. It also comes with a thread file which works great to fix messed up lug...

I had to warranty the 1/4', and 1/2" ratchets out of a set after minimal use (the 3/8" ratchet was stolen before I had a chance to use it). My replacement 72T Maximum 1/4" ratchet is already starting to skip...

Bit Socket Vs. One Piece Design

The pressed in two piece style is much more common, so I suspect it may be the better design. I've seen the one piece style twist whereas the two piece will snap the tip if they are going to fail.

    Pesky Toyota wheel nuts

Matco and Snap-On both sell the 21mm/21.5mm lug nut flip socket. There's no such thing as a 21.5mm lug nut but they make the socket for damaged/distorted lug nuts which are somewhat common on Dodge's. https://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/LT1240/LUGNUT-REMOVER-21-21-5MM/...
