Spend the money on a reasonable quality welder, visit youtube, watch videos, acquire steel, and practice. I don't imagine you're trying to build a pipeline or repair a bridge so don't over complicate things.

I have the williams, I think its a nice ratchet for my purposes (mostly heavy equipment) the lower tooth count hasn't bothered me, I find it usually use it for breaking things free and switch to a shorter ratchet if needed. Nice compromise between a breaker bar and regular ratchet.

I like my Stahlwille set everything else is Wera

Noco gb70 its good, I've killed one through my own error. Sometimes not the best for tractors but overall does the job 95% of the time.

Primetools.co.uk has always been good for me when buying Stahlwille, sometimes you can catch some good sales and being VAT exempt essentially covers the duty when importing into canada
