I picked up a compressor without a motor recently. I have a 1.5 hp Marathon motor that is rated at 3450rpm but when I attached it to the tank and compressor head I think it is rotating far too fast. I caulked the seam between the sill plate and the concrete. Then i bought a couple cans of auto undercoating, you know the rubber spray stuff.
