This is dry stack concrete block made of a concrete with high insulating value. they claim R34. This looks like it can be laid by a DIYer. Has anyone had experience with the stuff. It looks like a way I could get a masonry garage at a reasonable price.

Insulating Block was Pole Barn or Stick Built
This brand of block is self stacking, insulated, and has a fireproof exterior. You pour concrete into them. The advantage is that they are not plastic on the exterior.

I once saw an add for roll around auto lifts. You could roll the forks, which had rollers on the far ends under your car. When you had it psoition, you locked its rear wheels and pumped it up. I do not know how safe these are.

I think Tom and Ray, the Car Gurs on NPR, otherwise known as Click and Clack started out as hippy era people running one of these. A lot of the people just wanted them to not only rent the space but do the work as well.
