You can also cut the tubes down a bit. This is what I did for my Atlas Kwik Bay to give myself a little extra room. The tubes are actually surprisingly thick (very nice quality) so it take a little more time to get through them with the hack saw.
This was posted in another thread a while back. I got the $30 one. Not the most comfortable thing in the world but it will get the job done and the price was good.
By far the worst part of this deal is having to pick it up at Walmart will call. I literally sat in the back are for while 2 dozen...
Man this is BS, I just bought one of these a week ago for $90. It says "unavailable" now though so I probably have no hope of getting a price reduction.
+1 on the Vessel Megadora's. I picked up the "motorcycle repair kit" set which has all the common sizes. I would also highly recommend the magnetic holder that they sell. Very nice piece and it holds the set nice and secure.
BTW, I'm pretty sure that the Hozan's are just rebranded Vessel...
Ditto on the long reach one. The only problem with mine is the screw that held the handle in fell out and the hole got stripped somehow. I still use it without the screw, just can't yank the handle hard or it comes out.
You're making me wish I did it with the old work boxes now. I just tried to measure and cut the OSB around the new work boxes. For the most part it worked out okay, but one of them I was a bit off so now I have a 2 gang cover on a 1 gang box.
Can't argue with another James . That seems like solid advice; I think you are right. I like the gridwall and I can adapt my stuff to fit the standard hooks or vice versa. I'm thinking of things like drilling a hole in my rake handle or using hose clamps to attach a hook to the smooth...
I was all set on getting some grids to hang various tools on my walls but I'm having trouble finding reasonably priced garage oriented (as opposed to retail hat hooks, etc.) attachments. I'm looking for ladder, rake, and hammer type holders to give some specific examples. I was able to find...
Hate to pick on Harbor Freight but my big fail was their hole saw kit. The whole kit was $12 and just a single 5" hole saw (plus pilot) was $60 at Home Depot. So anyway, I'm up on my roof trying to use this thing to cut a hole for a bathroom vent and I couldn't even get one hole out of this...
Thanks man. Really appreciate it. For some reason I got it in my head that it was for the air outlet. Really great compressor BTW. My only gripe is that one of the wheel brackets was welded slightly crooked. I don't plan to wheel it around much so no big deal
Maybe not the right place to ask this, but did you guys get a filter in the box and what are you doing with it?
Just got my 6310 in the mail and it was loose in the box. The instructions say to screw it into the air exit of the pump but the fittings aren't the right size or orientation...
Just noticed that Wayfair has these at the same price now in case you missed it at Home Depot.
