Grandpa left me this old Prentiss #54.

My grandpa recently died and my grandma gave me his Prentiss Vise Co. New York No. 54 Bull Dog. Does anyone know anything about this vise? It is in pretty good shape but it might be a fun restoration project too. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, James
